Questions
Plainly answered.
What should I have ready?
Usually recent pay stubs, W-2s or tax returns, bank statements and a photo ID. Self-employed buyers typically need more. We will send a simple checklist for your situation. Please do not upload documents through this website.
Is pre-approval the same as final approval?
No. A pre-approval is based on an initial review. Final approval comes after the lender reviews the home, the appraisal and your updated information.
Will it hurt my credit?
A credit check is part of pre-approval. We will explain how and when your credit is reviewed before anything is pulled.
